The Vintyri Cartographic Collection

Free, open symbols, objects, fills and textures for Fractal Mapper™ 8 and Dundjinni™.

With the release of Symbol Set 5 in January 2010, the final and complete Version 1.0 of the Vintyri Cartographic Catalog has been released. The catalog includes more than 40 fills or textures and more than 1,000 symbols or objects.

The Vintyri Project will continue to develop symbols, graphics, maps and other tools, and these too will be released on a free. open gaming basis. The City Block Raster Symbol Presets listed below use a special map-within-a-map technique of Fractal Mapper 8. We are unaware of any feasible means to produce similar objects for Dundjinni. Therefore, they are being released only for FM8. Dundjinni is unable to work with vector symbols. Therefore, the vector set listed below is available only in an FM8 version.

This is a collection of graphical raster symbols and fills (or objects and textures) for use with the fantasy RPG cartographic programs Fractal Mapper™ 8 and Dundjinni™. The structures are based upon historical European models. The collection consists of a large number of fills or textures and symbol sets with various themes.
